Le Grand New Year’s Day Auction

Le Grand New Year’s Day Auction presented by Thos. Cornell Galleries, Ltd. will feature an array of American and French mid-century and Modern furniture and accessories. Featured in the sale are antique French clocks, paintings, paper prints, Oriental rugs, sterling silver, and more.

Highlighted in the sale is a 19th-century antique Oushak carpet, decorated in a green, yellow, and white pattern on a red base. The carpet has a green main border and a white outer border. Another available lot in the auction is an Italian mosaic plaque. It shows a group of dogs surrounding a deer in a body of water. One notable lot among the presented sterling silver items is a 123-piece set of Tiffany & Co. flatware in the St. Dunstan pattern. A 1905 sterling silver vase by Lebkuecher & Co. depicting eagles, peacocks, and butterflies will be available as well.
