Ceramics figurines by American ceramist Ken Ferguson are shown in museums around the world. Stoneware by the artist is sculpted in a whimsical and industrial style, including a tripod teapot available in Whitley’s Auctioneers’ upcoming Home and Interiors Auction. The bisque lidded teapot by Ferguson is glazed with dark colors and rabbit motifs.
The auction also features an abstract Ariel glass vase. Orrefors, a Swedish glass manufacturer, is credited with developing the Ariel technique of trapping air between glass walls to impart a desired shape. The first female glass designer of the firm, Ingeborg Lundin, created the piece available in this auction. Also offered in the sale are paintings by artists such as Steve Penley and Angelo Botello, along with Japenese Art Deco paintings. Royal Doulton figurines, various vases, silverware, and home furnishings are also part of the auction. Explore the full listings and register to bid online on Bidsquare.
