This ongoing Modern Art and Design auction offered by Palm Beach Modern Auctions, which began on May 29th and will conclude on June 9th, includes a diverse collection of work representing the 20th century. Both decorative and fine arts, as well as furniture, are represented in this auction. Among the most noteworthy lots is a figural painting from Antonio Saura, a post-war Spanish painter associated with surrealism and other movements. Available, too, is a large diptych from 1977 by American abstract painter Sam Gilliam. A series of outdoor sculptures by Larry Mohr and an early sculptural platter from Jim Leedy are also among the most highly valued lots in this auction.
