New York City Estate Auction

Showplace Antique + Design Center’s upcoming New York City Estate Auction will present several pieces of vintage jewelry from brands such as Rolex, as well as works of fine art. Featured in the latter category is Ellsworth Kelly’s screenprint titled Dark Gray and White. One of the key jewelry items in the auction is an 18-karat gold lady’s Rolex Datejust watch. This watch has a fluted bezel and a hidden crown clasp.

Other highlighted lots include work from Lyonel Feininger. Gelmerode by Feininger is a woodcut print on Japanese paper, dating back to 1920. Feininger was a German-American artist and a prominent advocate of Expressionism. Bidders can also find an Abstract acrylic on masonite by Leonardo Nierman.
