Eclectic Collection of Estates Worldwide

Cartier, Chaumet, Hublot, and Audemars Piguet are among the most luxurious brands in the watch industry. This November, Akiba Antiques will present a collection of these brands and their luxury timepieces in the Eclectic Collection of Estates Worldwide auction. 

One key lot is an 18 karat diamond Americaine watch by Cartier. Features of this ladies’ watch include a folded clasp, a diamond frame for the timepiece, and a crystal glass face. Interested collectors can also bid for a Montre Philosophique watch by Audemars Piguet. The company rose to prominence by creating the world’s first minute-repeating movement mechanism for wristwatches in 1892. It has since made some of the thinnest watches ever designed. The Montre Philosophique is made of yellow gold and 50 cut diamonds. Besides watches, the collection also includes fine jewelry pieces, such as a gold and diamond ring from Gucci.
