Founded in 1859 by Theodor Friedrich Wilhelm Märklin, the German toy brand Märklin is now synonymous with handcrafted model trains and accessories. Among the leading lots is a transparent HO 3774 digital locomotive. Märklin introduced digital trains around 1984 and created transparent models to market the new technology.
