NY Elizabeth Offers 400 Tiffany & Co. Jewelry Items at Auction This January

Among the leading lots of this auction is a rose gold T-wire bracelet from Tiffany & Co. (lot #2; estimate: USD 2,600 – $6,500). This 18-karat gold example measures 5.7 inches in length and comes to auction with its original box and case. Tiffany’s T designs emphasize simplicity and elegance. They feature a graphic T-shaped motif, referencing the jewelry house’s name. Also available from the T collection is an 18-karat yellow gold ring (lot #3; estimate: $1,000 – $2,500) and a pair of drop earrings in 18-karat rose gold (lot #25; estimate: $2,200 – $5,500).

Several lots created by Italian jewelry designer Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. are available in this sale. First known as a fashion model, Peretti began designing new jewelry styles in 1969. She started working with Tiffany formally in 1974 and created innovative designs inspired by the rising tide of modern art. Among her most famous designs is the Open Heart collection, which features a heart shape tilted slightly off center. One such Open Heart ring is available from NY Elizabeth this January. This silver example measures size US 5.5 and comes to auction with an estimate of $400 to $1,000 (lot #71).

Pairs of Elsa Peretti Bean earrings are available in both silver and yellow gold. Bidders can also consider a small cuff bracelet from Peretti’s Bone collection. Introduced in the 1970s, the Bone cuff bracelet is inspired by the natural curves of the wrist and has been interpreted as a symbol of female strength and independence. The available Bone cuff bracelet was designed for the right hand and is composed of 18-karat rose gold (lot #36; estimate: $26,000 – $65,000). Other jewelry items designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. offered in this upcoming auction include starfish, leaf, and feather motifs. 

Diamond jewelry pieces from Tiffany will be presented as well. This includes a platinum and diamond pendant necklace (lot #90; estimate: $54,000 – $135,000). The center pear-shaped stone comes to auction with a grading report. Also available is a Tiffany solitaire necklace featuring a round-cut diamond threaded on a simple platinum chain (lot #355; estimate: $28,000 – $70,000) and an aquamarine and diamond Art Deco necklace (lot #110; estimate: $29,000 – $72,500).
