Fine diamonds top the listings, including a shimmering bracelet that features approximately 39.00 carats of emerald and round brilliant-cut diamonds (lot #2205; estimate: USD 70,000 – $125,000). This piece was formerly in the private collection of Joel A. The available bracelet features an 18-karat white gold setting and a hidden box clasp.
Other top diamond jewelry pieces in the sale include a ladies’ Vacheron Constantin 18-karat yellow gold Metiers d’Art Lady Kalla wristwatch (lot #2124; estimate: $150,000 – $175,000). The Lady Kalla model won the 2001 “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix, or best in show prize, in the inaugural Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) ceremony. This award is given to watches deemed most representative of the horology industry, and it remains the most prestigious award given to timepieces. Known for its elegance and careful construction, the wristwatch features a diamond dial, diamond accented bracelet, and manual wind movement.
The catalog features several other wristwatches of note from Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, Rolex, and others.
