Showplace Summer Online Only Sale

Martin & Schwartz Pump Co. has manufactured gas pumps since 1922 and was purchased by Wayne Pump Co. in 1951. The company’s Model 80 remains a popular collectible. The upcoming Showplace Summer Online Only sale, presented by Showplace Antique + Design Center, will feature a Martin & Schwartz Model 80 gas pump from the 1950s, restored to Texaco colors. Another highlight of the sale is a mixed metal plaque by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne. This wall hanging has a Chinoiserie landscape decoration. The father and son duo worked together to create art pieces that were incorporated into furniture.

Also of interest is a Drew & Sons English wicker and leather picnic basket. This luxury luncheon kit includes silverware from the early 20th century, a corkscrew, several wicker covered glasses and bottles, four enameled dishes, and other items.
