Highlighted in the first session of Brunk Auctions’ upcoming event is a 1964 Lincoln Continental sedan from the Ford Motor Company. Since 1939, the division of Lincoln Continental was led by Edsel Ford, son of the founder Henry Ford. He produced personal luxury convertible cars as vacation vehicles. The featured convertible has suicide doors and white leather interiors.
Jewelry items from luxury manufacturers will be available in the sale as well, including Cartier’s La Doña wristwatch. In 2006, Cartier celebrated their relationship with María Félix, an acclaimed Mexican film actress, by launching a collection called La Doña. Its distinct design drew inspiration from Félix’s preferred animal— the crocodile. Another key jewelry item is a peridot and pearl necklace from Tiffany & Co. The antique piece is decorated with a Cannetille design, characterized by gold wires or thinly hammered sheets. This particular design was popularized between the 1820s and 1830s.
