In the upcoming Premier Auction event, Brunk Auctions will present a variety of categories with an emphasis on fine and decorative art. A Georgia Federal desk and bookcase is one of the featured lots. Produced in 1815, this desk is made of mahogany veneer wood. The exterior was built as a bookcase with adjustable shelves, while the interior opens to six drawers. Characterized by symmetry and balance, Georgian Federal-style furniture became popular in the 18th century. Along with furniture, the sale includes a sculpture by Wilhelm Schimmel. The sculpture, titled American Eagle, captures the movement of an eagle about to take flight

An SLE 20 shotgun from Boss & Co. will also be offered in the auction. With an extensive company history, Boss & Co. has been producing guns and rifles since 1812. Charles Caryl Coleman’s oil painting is also presented. Born in Buffalo, New York, Coleman painted several landscape paintings in his early days.
