About the collection:
Mr. and Mrs. O. Robert and Jacqueline Kaufman were passionate collectors of many mediums of art, but their fascination with art glass was unmatched. Over their 68 years of marriage, they sought out the most unique pieces they found, the ones to which they felt a personal connection. They were drawn to the way light interacted with the glass and installed custom lighting for their space to enhance their beauty and create a sense of movement and life within each piece.

The Kaufmans selected each piece with a deep appreciation and respect for the diverse talents, techniques, and expressions of the artists whose creativity and craftsmanship captivated them. They were very supportive of artistry found within their community and frequented the local Habatat Galleries, where they acquired many pieces over the years. In their memory, the daughters of O. Robert and Jacqueline Kaufman hope that the love their parents had for the genre will inspire others to discover and support the incredible artistry found within their own communities.
