The 40th Annual Baltimore Art, Antique & Jewelry Show Rescheduled to 2021
The 2020 Baltimore Art, Antique & Jewelry Show, postponed from August to November, has now officially been rescheduled to 2021. The original event was rescheduled following the City of Baltimore’s Executive Order to cancel public events through August 30th. However, recent updates from Government officials regarding the use of the Baltimore Convention Center will prevent the show from taking place throughout the remainder of 2020.
In April, the Baltimore Convention Center was transitioned for utilization as a field hospital to help elevate the abundance of COVID-19 cases. Although they have seen light use of the medical facilities, the hospital has opted to remain open at the convention center through December 2020 as a precaution.
Over the past few months, the Palm Beach Show Group team has been planning for a safe, socially distanced show working diligently on procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of clients, collectors, partners and staff. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, it is not possible to host The Baltimore Show this year, note the organizers.
“The Palm Beach Show Group remains committed to cultivating a marketplace for art, antique & jewelry exhibitors. We look forward to celebrating the 40th edition in 2021 with anticipations of returning bigger and better than ever. We remain united as a community as we forge ahead during these unique circumstances and look forward to producing a successful Baltimore Show next year,” say organizers. “Although many uncertainties remain, the Palm Beach Show Group believes the resilience of our industry will allow our future events to return with an abundance of support from dealers and collectors alike. We stay positive and remain hopeful as we continue to produce future shows.”
