In Nice, on Thursday November 27, Millon Riviera OVV will be auctioning contemporary art, including a work by Wang Keping (b. 1949), one of China’s leading artists of the 1970s. Le Cri, sold for €7,900, is a wooden sculpture, signed on the back, from the Bernard Zurcher gallery (78 x 60 cm). But the highest bidder was Pilipili Mulongoy, known as Pilipili (1914-2007), with his Gazelles (86.5 x 96.5 cm), a canvas that fetched €13,400 .The bronze by Sayed Haider Raza Nagas, seen in Gazette no. 41, did not sell.
