Vintage Cartier Disney Charm Bracelet and Elsa Peretti Mesh Scarf Necklace Highlight Rago’s Upcoming Sale

Rago will present its Jewelry Unlimited sale this July, offering nearly 300 lots of fine jewelry and timepieces. Leading the catalog is a Cartier Disney sterling silver charm bracelet. In 1937, Cartier made this bracelet with charms resembling the animated feature film Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. During the 1930s and 1940s, Disney and Cartier teamed up to create souvenirs for Walt Disney Productions, including golden curios for the American market. Another notable jewelry lot in the sale is an Elsa Peretti mesh scarf necklace designed to drape gracefully over the body’s contours because of its malleable design. This piece is crafted in sterling silver with a Peretti T&Co signature. 

Among timepieces in the sale, bidders can consider a 21 Must de Cartier stainless steel wristwatch from Cartier. A vintage watch from the Parisian house, 21 Must de Cartier comes with a round case and three-piece link strap. Its silvered dial features the words ‘Must de Cartier’ at 12 o’clock and ‘Swiss’ at six o’clock. There is a sloping, gold chapter ring around the outer track for the seconds, along with gold Roman numeral hour markers in the bezel. Additional lots of interest include an Oyster Perpetual lady’s gold and stainless-steel wristwatch from Rolex, a Cartier gold compass, and a pair of British gold and gem-set rings.
