Headlining the auction is a George III cartouche-shaped giltwood mirror, in the Chippendale manner. This mirror features two mirrored cartouches within foliate scrolls and C-scrolled borders. Two exotic ho-ho birds sit at the edges of this giltwood mirror with a floral arrangement in the center. A Staffordshire figure featuring Cybele, the goddess of fertility and nature on a chariot pulled by her companion tigers is also highlighted. Included in the auction is also a pair of large mason’s Ironstone Chinoiserie vases and covers. They stand 32 inches tall and are covered with various scenes of parents playing with children, flowers, butterflies, and fish. The lids are covered with three-headed dragons.
