Robert Wyland’s Sunset Dolphins and Damien Hirst’s Limited Edition Mixed Media Come to Robinhood Auctions

In the latest Contemporary Art for All sale from Robinhood Auctions, over 950 lots of paintings, mixed media, prints, and more will come under the hammer. One of the leading lots of this event is an original oil painting on canvas titled Sunset Dolphins by Robert Wyland. Hand-signed by the artist, this piece comes framed. The auction house notes that the offered work is in great condition and includes a letter of authenticity. As the name suggests, the canvas portrays two dolphins with a colorful sunset in the background. Another notable lot is The Empresses Suite by British artist and collector Damien Hirst. This set of five butterfly compositions is individually numbered and signed. These pieces are drenched in crimson red and screen-printed with glitter. 

Collectors can also consider Floral Spirit 06, an original mixed media painting on paper. It was rendered by Lu Hong in 2003. One of the significant contemporary Chinese artists, Lu Hong was born in Qin Huangdao, Northern China. He was influenced by the works of Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, and Amedeo Modigliani. Lu Hong’s multi-faceted paintings on rice paper reverberate strongly in the art market. Additional items of interest include an original acrylic painting on a three-dimensional wood sculpture by Igal Preslor, KAWS’ color screenprint titled The Promise, and a framed mixed media original Ballon Girl by Mr. Brainwash.
