The upcoming Beverly Hills Automotive sale, presented by NY Elizabeth, showcases a Porsche 964 Carrera 4 wide-body coupe. Porsche introduced a limited-edition coupe in 1994— the Carrera C4 Wide-Body— to enhance its 911 Carrera Coupe lineup. The 964 generation featured a largely new platform while keeping the 911 design to a great extent. Exclusively available in the North American market, the Carrera 4 Wide-Body was similar to the 964 Turbo 3.3. The Carrera 4 was the first 964 model to feature an all-wheel-drive system that provided enhanced all-weather performance. The available car comes with an M64 engine that produced 247 horsepower and was paired with a five-speed Getrag ‘G50’ transmission to send power to the front and rear wheels. In 1994, production of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Wide-Body ended with 267 examples built.
The sale will also offer a 1962 Maserati 3500GTI. As with all Carozzeria Touring vehicles, the 3500 GT’s alloy body was constructed using the company’s iconic Superleggera construction method. This example is finished in a black and sand-beige interior color scheme. Season 5 of FantomWorks, a reality show about classic car restoration, featured the car. The Maserati 3500GTI road car is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, a six-cylinder carbureted engine with 240 horsepower, and front-wheel disc brakes.
