Christie’s Pavilion Online: Chinese Art auction offers centuries of art in one location. Largely stemming from the collection of Quek Kiok Lee acquired during the 1960s through the 1980s, this auction is particularly good for the collector wishing to add Imperial Era pieces. Highlights include a Tang Dynasty sancai-glazed camel, signed Yixing purple clay ware, and several excellent examples of Transitional ware. There is also a collection of Yongzheng fine porcelains, as well as intricately carved Qing Dynasty bamboo brush pots. To see the complete collection and place a bid by June 13, go to Christie’s.
