Patek Philippe Chronograph, Ceylon Sapphire Cartier Ring at Farber Auctioneers & Appraisers’ Upcoming Sale

Patek Philippe presented its first annual calendar wristwatch in 1996. Ever since, the luxury watch manufacturer has made ground-breaking innovations in fine watches and designs.  A Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph Platinum 5960P is a key highlight of the upcoming auction from Farber Auctioneers & Appraisers. The available ref. 5960P Annual Calendar Chronograph Platinum is a blue and sporty wristwatch. It has an automatic- working order movement with date and day/night indication. The white case measures 40 mm in diameter. The watch comes with a power reserve indicator and an additional service box.    

The sale also features a no-heat Ceylon sapphire platinum ring mounted by Cartier. The cushion-cut sapphire is said to have originated in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). The central stone is flanked by two rectangle-shaped diamonds on either side. According to the Stone Group Laboratories report, the sapphire has a slightly violet-blue color.
