In Farber Auctioneers and Appraisers’ latest sale, nearly 600 lots of fine jewelry and timepieces will come under the hammer. Among the top lots of this event is a hammered heart gold and diamond pendant necklace from Tiffany. Featuring two bezel-set brilliant-cut diamonds on either side of a hammered heart, this elegant Tiffany & Co. pendant embodies friendship and happiness. The jewel is attached to a chain crafted from 18-karat white gold. There are no noticeable surface imperfections on this necklace. Another notable jewelry lot is an 18-karat gold enamel diamond ring. This 18-karat gold Zenith Daytona is powered by a self-winding El Primero movement manufactured by Zenith. Rolex included Zenith movements in its Daytona watches from 1988 to 2000, when Rolex finally developed its own in-house chronograph movement. The offered wristwatch has a Zenith caliber 4030 movement and its original yellow gold bracelet. Also available is a Rolex Yacht-Master 40 wristwatch with an 18-karat yellow gold setting and bracelet. Designed for sailing and water sports, this watch features a rotatable graduated bezel, allowing the wearer to measure time intervals. The available ref. 5960P Annual Calendar Chronograph Platinum is a blue and sporty wristwatch. It has an automatic- working order movement with date and day/night indication. The white case measures 40 mm in diameter. The watch comes with a power reserve indicator and an additional service box. The sale also features a no-heat Ceylon sapphire platinum ring mounted by Cartier. The cushion-cut sapphire is said to have originated in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). This Stone Mountain Memorial half dollar is an American fifty-cent piece struck in 1925 at the Philadelphia Mint. It was created to raise money for the Stone Mountain Memorial on behalf of the Stone Mountain Confederate Monumental Association. The coin features Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. The caption on the coin reads "Memorial to the Valor of the Soldier of the South." It was also originally intended to be in memory of President Warren G. Harding, but no mention of him appears on the coin. It was designed by sculptor Gutzon Borglum. Among gold coins, a 1913-P Indian Head $10 Gold Eagle. The Indian Head eagle is a $10 gold piece struck by the United States Mint from 1907 until 1916. Its minting was irregular until 1933. The sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens designed the obverse and reverse but died before seeing the released coins.
