Leading the sale catalog is a purple sapphire diamond gold platinum ring designed by Oscar Heyman Brothers. The center purple sapphire measures approximately 7.23 carats. The gemstone is surrounded by yellow and white diamonds. According to the auction catalog, the diamonds have F color and VVS-VS clarity. They measure a total of 1.80 carats.  Another notable lot is a Seaman Schepps Garden Tutti Frutti bracelet. Carved, faceted, and cabochon rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds highlight this bracelet. The gemstones are set in 18-karat gold. The bracelet carries the maker’s mark and weighs a total of 88.6 grams. Born in New York City in 1881, Seaman Schepps was famous for his retro and 1950s-style jewelry. While the hands of the watch are designed in the form of a double-edged sword, the stylized monogram “W” is placed at the nine o’clock position. Additional features include a bold skeleton dial and a 72-hour power reserve, a tourbillon feature. This 18-karat gold Zenith Daytona is powered by a self-winding El Primero movement manufactured by Zenith. Rolex included Zenith movements in its Daytona watches from 1988 to 2000, when Rolex finally developed its own in-house chronograph movement. The offered wristwatch has a Zenith caliber 4030 movement and its original yellow gold bracelet. Also available is a Rolex Yacht-Master 40 wristwatch with an 18-karat yellow gold setting and bracelet. The cushion-cut sapphire is said to have originated in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). The central stone is flanked by two rectangle-shaped diamonds on either side.     1925 Stone Mountain Memorial Half-Dollar Coin Features in Upcoming United States Coins Auction

    Surrounded by a pristine lake is Stone Mountain, a quartz monzonite dome-like hill located 16 miles east of Atlanta, Georgia. The park is the most visited tourist site in the state. A 1925-P Stone Mountain Memorial half-dollar NGC MS-68 coin is available in the upcoming United States Coins Auction, presented by Farber Auctioneers and Appraisers. This Stone Mountain Memorial half dollar is an American fifty-cent piece struck in 1925 at the Philadelphia Mint. It was created to raise money for the Stone Mountain Memorial on behalf of the Stone Mountain Confederate Monumental Association. The coin features Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. The caption on the coin reads "Memorial to the Valor of the Soldier of the South." It was also originally intended to be in memory of President Warren G. Harding, but no mention of him appears on the coin. It was designed by sculptor Gutzon Borglum. Among gold coins, a 1913-P Indian Head $10 Gold Eagle. The Indian Head eagle is a $10 gold piece struck by the United States Mint from 1907 until 1916. Its minting was irregular until 1933. The sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens designed the obverse and reverse but died before seeing the released coins.
