Modern Design Auction

The Italian-American sculptor, Bruno Lucchesi, is known for his terra cotta and bronze sculptures. Lucchesi has won several awards and commissions, completing works for the Bank of America and Italy’s Amerigo Vespucci bridge. He often depicts contemplative female figures in his works. Available in the Modern Design Auction offered by Uniques & Antiques is a female nude sculpture by Bruno Lucchesi. Made on a walnut base, the bronze table sculpture shows a nude woman in a reclining posture.

Also showcased are a pair of Cedric Hartman floor lamps. Hartman is an American furniture and lamp designer whose custom-made light fixtures are shown in the New York Museum of Modern Art’s permanent design collection. The available cantilever floor lamps have a slender design to direct light only where needed. A pair of lounge chairs by Katavolos, Littell & Kelley is also highlighted. These scoop lounge chairs have chrome frames and white leather tufted seats.
