Maîtres du Temps Wristwatch Leads Valentine’s Day Jewelry Auction From Gallery 63

Maîtres du Temps is a Swiss watch company built to promote collaboration between master watchmakers. Founded in 2005, the firm has released three “chapters” of wristwatch styles over the last 15 years. Gallery 63’s upcoming Pre-Valentine’s Day Auction will feature a rose gold “Chapter Two” Maîtres du Temps wristwatch. Designed by Peter Speake-Marin and Daniel Roth, this piece highlights two month and day rollers, a transparent caseback, and a black leather band. Other notable timepieces in the sale include a Tiffany & Co. 18-karat gold wristwatch, a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch, and a vintage Calatrava example from Patek Philippe. 

 Luxury brands such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Louis Vuitton are presented alongside vintage and custom pieces. One key lot is an 18-karat gold Cartier Panthère bracelet. The company’s signature big cat wraps around the wrist before resting its head on its crossed front paws. The panther has Tsavorite eyes and black enamel spots.
