Kodner Galleries’ Upcoming Auction Offers Blend of Fine Art, Estate Jewelry, and Furniture

The upcoming Estate Jewelry, Fine Art, & Collectibles sale, presented by Kodner Galleries, offers a mixed bag of fine art, estate jewelry, and furniture. Highlighted in the auction is an oil painting by Italian Orientalist painter Fabio Fabbi. Following his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, Fabbi traveled to Egypt to paint scenes of markets, bazaars, odalisques, and harems. The available work, titled Orientalist Trader, shows several figures gathered around a multicolored carpet.

Another highlight is a Piaget Polo watch. Created in 1979, the Polo luxury sports watch gained immense popularity in the 1980s. As Yves G. Piaget recalls, “It represented the first time one of our watches was created to meet demand and not ‘imposed’ on the market as the custom used to be… our retailers wanted a luxury sports watch.” The event will also offer a selection of gold and diamond jewelry, furniture, and centerpieces.
