The Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches, Audemars Piguet, is best known for creating the world’s first minute-repeating movement for wristwatches in 1892. One of their notable collections introduced in 1995 was the Millenary. An off-centered dial and balance wheel are some of the chief characteristics of this collection. The upcoming Jewelry & Watches Auction presented by Morton Subastas features an example of an Audemars Piguet watch from the Millenary collection. The oval case of the watch is made of 18 karat rose gold and a diamond bezel. It has a fluted crown with a violet cabochon. The brown leather strap has crocodile details and a pink gold buckle. Another key highlight of the sale is an IWC Schaffhausen watch, made of rose gold with a convex bezel, a fluted crown, and two push-buttons.
