Enameled with a depiction of a woman in a harem, this box includes sapphires, rubies and green jade. Harem used to be the ultimate symbol of a Sultan’s power and ownership of women. A similar Tiffany & Co. box recently sold at Quinn’s Auction Galleries for $62,500.  A Storr/Houle sterling silver-gilt Regency centerpiece with four candleholders is also included.
