Fine Jewelry, Native American Lots From Sitting Bull Lead Tales of the Old West Sale by North American Auction Company

A 73.32-carat emerald diamond and 18-karat yellow gold necklace by Oscar Friedman is featured in the upcoming Tales of the Old West: Western & Native American July Sale, presented by North American Auction Company. The necklace features 128 natural octagonal step-cut emeralds with good cut grade and a total weight of 73.32 carats. The emeralds are bordered with rectangular links decorated with 1,572 natural round, brilliant-cut diamonds with clarity of SI1 to SI3. The necklace features a polished, stamped, and tested 14-karat yellow gold construction on the clasp. Another featured lot by Oscar Friedman is an 83.99-carat fancy black and white diamond necklace. The necklace features a polished, stamped, and tested 14-karat white gold construction marked on the clasp. The necklace features 41 graduated fancy black diamonds measuring 75.49 carats. The black diamonds are decorated with halo rings made of 818 round, brilliant-cut white diamonds. Both necklaces are GIA and AIGL-certified. 

Another featured lot is a 12.30-carat sapphire and diamond ring. The ring features a center stone of natural cushion-shaped, brilliant-cut crown step-crown sapphire with deep blue color and a total weight of 12.30 carats. The center stone has Art Deco shoulders decorated with 86 brilliant-cut diamonds with a clarity of VS1 to SI1, and a coloration of G to H. The piece comes with AIGL and GIA certificates.
