Fine Art by Peter Max, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso Available at Robinhood Auctions

The latest event from Robinhood Auctions, the Contemporary and Classic Masterpieces sale, features a diverse collection of paintings, prints, multiples, and other artworks. Among the top lots is a mixed media on paper painting by German-born American artist Peter Max. Titled Without Borders, the work shows a boat gliding toward the Amazon River as the sun disappears behind a lush landscape. This is an Expressionistic, vibrant painting on canvas exemplifying the artist’s passion for environmental causes. Peter Max has been contributing to environmental issues for most of his life through his creative work. The offered piece was painted for Ted Turner’s documentary Without Borders to raise awareness about the environment, the Amazon, and major rivers. The custom-framed piece includes a certificate of authenticity and a Max Studios Reference Number. Another key fine art lot in the catalog is an original lithograph work by Spanish artist Salvador Dalí titled Jeremiah. In this work, Jeremiah is depicted with shoulder-length gray hair and an equally thick beard. He has blue eyes and is dressed in a pink robe with gold collar trim. This hand-signed lithograph includes a gallery certificate proving its authenticity.   

An original etching by Guillaume Azoulay will be offered as well, titled L’Arlecchino. This piece is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Guillaume Azoulay is known for creating a complete piece using only one, continuous line. The artist weaves his linear tale into a solid cloth through colors that reflect light in a rainbow-like pattern after a downpour.
