Circle Auction to Offer Items From Audemars Piguet, David Webb, and Others

Circle Auction will offer an Audemars Piguet watch along with a pair of David Webb earrings and a Tiffany & Co. necklace in its upcoming auction this August. Established in 1875, Audemars Piguet is a Swiss company known for its limited releases of luxury watches. An Audemars Piguet Charleston watch will lead the upcoming event. Its white enamel dial features a diamond in its center and a gold ‘AP’ logo at the 12 o’clock position. Black Roman numerals indicate the other numbers and black batons mark the hours and minutes. The 282 diamonds on this original watch, combined with 24 diamonds on the included three extra links, together weigh 4.00 carats. 

With pieces on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, David Webb’s company still produces jewelry from his designs years after his death in 1975. The upcoming sale will showcase a pair of flower clip earrings designed by David Webb. The round platinum center has three diamond sections.
