Ahlers & Ogletree’s February Sale Features Tiffany & Co. Paloma Picasso Gold Stud Earrings, Pierre Sterle Diamond and Filigree Necklace

The upcoming two-day auction from Ahlers & Ogletree features a wide range of fine jewelry, timepieces, and luxury accessories. Among the top lots in the catalog is a pair of 18-karat yellow gold ‘X’ stud earrings from Tiffany & Co. The jewelry collection, created by visionary designer Paloma Picasso, typically features diamonds or other precious stone embellishments. With designer Picasso’s signature handwriting, the available earrings include a butterfly back in yellow gold. Another notable piece in the sale is a diamond and filigree necklace by Pierre Sterle, a French jeweler. Pierre Sterle’s jewelry designs often feature precious and semiprecious gemstones in an asymmetrical, Baroque style. As a result, the piece exhibited a sense of increased movement. Crafted from 14-karat yellow gold, this necklace features round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling nearly 6.50 carats and set in navette motif links. The piece is marked “STERLE PARIS” underneath the clasp.
