Abington Auction’s Late Spring Sale

Abington Gallery Inc.’s upcoming sale features fine art from artists such as Andy Warhol and Marc Chagall, watches from Vacheron & Constantin, and a set of cognac bottles designed by Erté, along with jewelry, decorative arts, and furniture. Showcased in the auction is a yellow diamond ring. This three-stone ring includes a radiant-cut center yellow diamond with two shield-shaped diamonds on either side, all set in platinum. 

American artist Andy Warhol was best known for his Pop Art, especially his screenprints of Marilyn Monroe, Campbell’s soup cans, and sensational newspaper stories. Blackgama, a screenprint of Judy Garland that was published in 1985 for his Ads Series, is highlighted in this event. A watch from Vacheron & Constantin will be available as well. Founded in 1755, Vacheron & Constantin is considered one of the oldest watch and clock manufacturers still in existence. The available gentleman’s Helm wristwatch is made with 18-karat yellow gold, a linen-textured dial, and applied gold arrowhead markers.
