Condition
Very good condition. One repaired chip to the rim which is almost imperceptible. Occasional minor surface abrasions. Some darkening to the base.

Large oil painting on canvas of two ladies having a picnic. Signed on verso.
Measures 36.5″ x 31″. Unframed.Schwartz was born in Belarus (then in the Russian Empire). Later he emigrated to the United States and enrolled in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Now The Art Institute of Chicago and the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha have several of Schwartz’s works in their permanent collections.
