All components are stamped “Alvin Sterling S192-1,” with a 2.5 pint capacity mark on the coffee pot, underscoring its substantial scale. A James Macintyre & Co. ceramic novelty perfume bottle, modelled in the form of a hazelnut or cob nut. The piece is realistically painted to resemble the nut, with a silver screw-threaded neck and domed silver cap. The underside is marked with the registered design number “R.No.89920” for 1887. The silver collar bears maker’s marks “CS FS” for Saunders & Shepherd, together with Birmingham hallmarks for 1888. The overall weight of the bottle with the silver top is 0.2 ounces.

2pc Indian Silver Sitar Form Box with Circular Insert:

The body of the sitar opens to reveal a gilt interior with a fitted circular, three-compartment insert. The exterior features chased and embossed decorative motifs including floral patterns and textured designs. The neck is detailed with raised frets and two tuning peg elements, and the end is cast in the form of an animal head. A decorative finial element is suspended from the underside of the neck. The lid interior is gilt and decorated with repousse bird designs. The piece is crafted from silver with parcel gilt accents. Box: 11.5″L x 3.5″W x 3″H. Circular insert: 3″W x 0.25″H.
