Condition

Lot # 164 is in a very good condition. The pile is mostly full , low and even with a few spots that show more minor wear. The two ends are original and secured. The two sides are complete and re-salvaged. There is no dryness or cracking in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready.

This exuberant oil and acrylic on canvas artwork depicts a bunch of flowers and foliage in a vase painted by Adeline Rich. Crimson, orange, pink and peach peonies are painted with think chunks that form reliefs amongst the green tones foliage in the vase and tabletop that compliment the apple green background. Rich’s method results in a joyous and bountiful composition with areas of three-dimensionality. Signature and date in black paint on lower left: Adeline Rich, 73.
