China was in the spotlight on Sunday December 7, at Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine (Oxio OVV). Particularly decorative, this pair of incense burners (h. 52, diam. 15 cm) from the Qianlong period (1736-1795) fetched up to €105,300. In hexagonal pagoda form, decorated with cloisonné enamels on gilded copper, they are set with a central openwork shaft in white jade carved with five-clawed dragons in clouds. Made around 1920, a pair of piriform vases (h. 40.5 cm) in porcelain and polychrome enamels fetched €22,750 for their decoration of animated scenes in a landscape. Its grips are in the shape of ruyi, and Buddhist swastikas and fish complete the decoration. 10 ,544 were required to don a court robe (h. 146 cm) from the Guangxu period (1875-1907).
