This porcelain table clock by Dagoty and Honoré, dating c. 1812–1820, will be offered by Antiquitäten Metz on Friday, July 17, in Heidelberg. Designed in the shape of a Neo-Gothic cathedral, it was produced by the Parisian manufactory founded in 1798 by the Dagoty brothers, one of the most renowned of the early decades of the 19th-century. Its decoration, lavishly accented with gold, is distinguished by its meticulous detail. The clock comes from the collection of Douglas Lorie, a porcelain collector and dealer based in Palm Beach, Florida, in the1980s.
