Vintage 1937 Packard Super 8 Touring Sedan and Rare 1957 Ford Thunderbird E-Code Convertible Lead Mecum Auctions’ Harrisburg Sale

Packard Motor Car Company was a US-based luxury automobile manufacturer located in Detroit, Michigan. The company was celebrated for its vehicles in the pre-World War II era. By the mid-1930s, it was producing both high-priced Senior and medium-priced Junior lines. A 1937 Packard Super 8 touring sedan is a key highlight of the upcoming Harrisburg 2024 sale, offered by Mecum Auctions. The Senior model was the bigger of the two 8-cylinder cars produced by the company. With a black exterior and light gray interior, the vehicle is geared with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipped with semi-floating rear axle and independent coil spring front suspension, the car features a fold-down luggage rack, bright hubcaps, and trim rings. 

Two Dodge automobiles also lead the listings. One is a 1970 red Challenger T/A designed with a scooped hood and powered by a 340/290 HP Six Pack V-8 engine. The other is a 2021 Hellraisin-hued Charger SRT Hellcat equipped with super stock suspension and Brembo brakes with four-piston calipers. Another noteworthy lot is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird E-code convertible car. One of the 1,499 E-codes manufactured in the year, the car features power seat and windows.
