Three-Day Auction Session III

The third session of Charlton Hall Auctioneers’ upcoming Three-Day Auction features Vienna porcelain, silver flatware and dinnerware, vintage furniture, figural lamps, and more. The sale will also offer Asian art and antiques, including hardwood sculptures and Chinese jade. 

At the top of the listings is a carved hardwood sculpture of Guanyin. In Chinese Buddhism, Guanyin is known as a deity of infinite compassion and mercy. Found in almost every Chinese temple in the world, Guanyin is depicted as a man dressed in a flowing robe, seated on a lotus blossom. Beyond sculptures, the sale also includes notable flatware items from Tiffany & Co. One such lot is a set of 12 silver teaspoons in the Beekman pattern. Since 1837, Tiffany & Co. has been recognized for its artistic jewelry and sterling designs. The auction also brings a silver grapevine dish from Reed & Barton.
