Fine and decorative art, as well as furniture and a vintage Ford car, are all available in The Traditional Collector event, presented by John Moran Auctioneers. A 1935 Ford V8 Deluxe Phaeton is one of the highlighted lots. It was restored in the 1980s, including a new coat of paint in the original vineyard green (exterior) and medium brown (interior).
Among the event’s decorative art pieces are two late 19th-century clocks. The first is a Belle Époque bronze clock from France. A cornucopia and chariot decorate the top of the clock, and a woman and cherub frame the bottom. The second featured clock is a smaller, Royal Vienna-style piece meant to be placed on a table. Friezes across the top of the clock depict the life of Venus, and other illustrations show courting couples. Register to bid for this or any other lot on Invaluable.
