Rare Type IIB Pear-Cut Diamond and Premium GIA-Graded Diamonds Highlight Bid Global International Auctioneers’ Upcoming Sale

The latest auction from Bid Global International Auctioneers will bring over 350 lots of diamonds to the auction block. Leading the sale is a 1.53-carat pear cut diamond. This Type IIb stone has a fancy gray-blue color and Internally Flawless (IF) clarity. It has been graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Type IIb stones are considered very rare in nature and are semiconductors. They contain trace amounts of boron, giving them a blue-gray color. Another highlight is a round-cut diamond weighing 12.38 carats. It is graded with G color and SI1 clarity. 

A variety of other diamond cuts are represented in the upcoming Bid Global auction, including round cuts, princess cuts, cushion cuts, and more. Notable among these is a pair of emerald-cut diamonds with a combined total carat weight of 10.03.
