Danish silversmith Georg Arthur Jensen, the founder of Georg Jensen A/S, was known for his commercial implementation of innovative metal design. The Georg Jensen company’s silverware is marked by simple and elegant craftsmanship. The upcoming sale, offered by SJ Auctioneers, will feature a Georg Jensen sterling silver acorn dinner and lunch set of 133 pieces. It includes dinner knives and forks, lunch knives and forks, salad forks, teaspoons, and butter spreaders. A sterling silver set of 84 pieces of Tiffany & Co. English King dinner flatware is equally noteworthy. Another notable Tiffany lot is a rare mid-20th century sterling silver gilt rose centerpiece bowl potpourri, made in Italy. It is ornamented with a finial, two lions and with a pierced, geometric design, standing on four clawed feet. 

The sale also includes a Russian sterling silver and marble desk set. It comprises an inkwell, letter opener, and blotter.
