Mecum’s Upcoming Dallas 2022 Auction Features 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition Race Car

A bright blue and orange 2006 Ford GT Heritage edition race car is the opening lot in this Dallas 2022 Auction, offered by Mecum Auction Company. The car belongs to the Mile High collection. It has run 420 miles under one previous owner with a 5.4L/550 HP supercharged V-8 engine, Ricardo six-speed manual transaxle, and a helical limited-slip differential. The race car features a forged crankshaft, H-beam rods, BBS forged wheels, Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, and Brembo 4-wheel disc brakes. Its pistons are aluminum. The interior is covered in black ebony leather and has a McIntosh stereo.

An all-green Daytona with metallic white wings is another key highlight of the auction. The 1969 Dodge Daytona is one of 503 produced. The last restoration was completed in 2002. Among motorcycles, a 2022 Indian Challenger, dark horse Jack Daniels edition is a notable lot. Proceeds from its sale will benefit Operation Ride Home working for military families.
