Jul 06, 2022 10:00 EDT - Jul 09, 2022 10:00 EDT
Founded by David Dunbar Buick in 1908, General Motors is among the most renowned American automobile companies. The firm introduced the Buick Gran Sport (GS) in 1964. This series featured a correct-specification engine built with the factory-original 10.5:1 piston, distributor and transmission, and 1970 Stage 1 carburetor, providing the model with horsepower that positioned it as the third-fastest muscle car at the time. Mecum Auctions’ Orlando 2022 event presents a 1970 Buick GS Stage 1 car. The available lot has power brakes and billet custom pistons and rods.
Also available in the auction is a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. The model was first launched in 1970. The vehicle is powered by a 305 CI V-8 engine. According to Motor Trend magazine, “Monte Carlo is an unqualified success in every respect… The Monte Carlo has a lot of luxury, a lot of performance and a lot of value-packed under its Chevrolet marque.” Explore more of these lots and register to bid online by visiting Mecum Auctions.
