Home and Interiors Auction

Whitley’s Auctioneers will offer a collection of décor and interior antiques in their upcoming Home and Interiors Auction. Available lots include a range of pottery pieces from European and American manufacturers such as Lalique, Waterford, Gorham, and a selection from the Doulton Burslem Studios. Included in the latter is a porcelain vase crafted by Victorian artist Frederick Sutton. The Neoclassical design features raised floral and gilt decoration with a central portrait of a young woman.

 A Barbizon School landscape by self-taught painter Adolf Kaufmann is also highlighted among the fine art pieces. The use of soft colors and tones shows the influence of artists such as Théodore Rousseau and Jean-François Millet. Also available is a collection of black and white photographs from Ken Van Sickle and several pieces of wood and contemporary furniture.
