Holiday Fine Jewelry Signature Auction

Last year marked the 50th anniversary of the Alhambra, the iconic design of Van Cleef & Arpels. In 1968, Jacques Arpels, inspired by popular decorative patterns, created a gold medallion shaped like a four-leaf clover. Challenging the notion that fine jewelry was only for formal evenings, the ready-to-wear concept of daytime jewelry has sustained over five decades. The design has been worn by fashion icons such as Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, Lyn Revson, and Heidi Klum.
