The upcoming auction, Glumac Part II: Furniture & Decorative Arts, presented by Turner Auctions + Appraisals LLC, offers a wide-ranging collection of more than 160 items. From carved furniture to paintings by Russian, German, and French artists, the lots are mostly from the 18th-20th centuries. A mahogany dining table is designed with cast bronze mounts on casters and three leaves. Boris Grigoriev’s “Dancers” and Carl Haefner’s oil on canvas landscape reflect changing art styles in the 19th century.
The selection of furniture pieces includes painted Japanese doors depicting lemurs, side chairs, armchairs, mahogany dining tables, French and Chinese side tables, trumeau and Neoclassical-style mirrors, among others. A collection of art and design books and antique volumes is also available.
