Popularly known as tanzanite, the blue and violet variety of zoisite is found exclusively in Tanzania. The gemstone came to be named after the country where it was discovered. A polished gold and black jade bracelet signed “Tiffany & Co., Elsa Peretti” is another lot of interest. Tiffany recently celebrated its 45-year partnership with Peretti in 2019. The Italian designer first joined as an independent consultant and later signed a contract to create numerous pieces of silver jewelry for the company.
