L’Art de Batir des Maisons de Campagne (The Art of Building Country Houses) by Charles Etienne Briseux details French Rococo architecture and design, bound in marbled calfskin and gilded from every angle.

Academic texts are particularly prominent in this auction. A set of three physical science volumes dates back to the 1600s; authored by Francesco Lana de Terzi, these books recall the mathematician’s work in aeronautical science. Many visual works are also available. A series of illustrations depict battle scenes from World War I, while Frederic M.
