Suzanne Eisendieck was both an admired artist in her own right and one of the few women painters to achieve worldwide recognition in the early 20th century. Her artworks first appeared at the Salon des Independants in 1929, which preceded several other major exhibitions. An example of her work is available in the upcoming Doyle at Home Auction, presented by Doyle. Along with Eisendieck’s painting, the event offers over 600 lots of fine and decorative art, flatware, and more.
Known for its standards of quality and craftsmanship, Tiffany & Co. has produced sterling silver flatware since 1837. One of the firm’s sterling silver sets in the Castillian pattern will also be featured in this auction. Also presented is a watercolor piece by Alberto Prosdocimi. Born in 1852, Prosdocimi was an Italian painter and manuscript illuminator. Browse the full catalog and register for online bidding at Doyle.
