Crescent City Auction Gallery Offers E. S. Cooper Oil Painting, 1987 Mercedes 300SDL in September Select Auction

Crescent City Auction Gallery’s September Select auction will offer a wide variety of fine and decorative arts, furniture, jewelry, and more. Included is E. S. Cooper’s 1888 Wooden Bridge in A Louisiana Bayou Landscape oil painting found in Louisiana Painters and Paintings: From the Collection of W. E. Groves, a book featuring various forms of Louisiana’s 19th-century artwork. The available painting is in a wooden frame and contains the artist’s signature and date in the lower right corner. The artwork measures 27.75 inches high and 39.25 inches wide with its frame. 

A 1987 Mercedes 300SDL will also be available. The 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo diesel four-door sedan’s exterior is painted in Desert Taupe metallic while the interior is comprised of Palomino leather. Features include an automatic transmission, rear wheel drive, automatic windows, and sunroof. An aftermarket auxiliary cord has been added to the center compartment. Four sets of keys are also included with the vehicle. In addition to the E. S.
